11U will have 6 Teams 

13U will have 6 Teams 

15U will have 6 Teams 

17U will have 4 Teams 

FEES:

U11-B   ($800 per team)

U13-B   ($850 per team)

U15-B   ($900 per team)

U17-B   ($900 per team)

We will only be running out of the Strathmore Family Centre, (160 Brent Blvd, Strathmore, AB),  this year on the Gold and Blue arena.

We have secured announcers again this year for the both the Gold & Blue arenas.

U17 will be a 4 team round robin

U11-U15 will be a random draw for placement into the 6 Teams, and will play in round robin style for 1 Game Friday, and 2 Games on Saturday.  Following the final divisional games for Saturday, teams will be placed into the play off round based on their performance in the tournament.  Ties will be broken as per the ALA guidelines. (Strathmore Teams will be Team1 and then random draws for teams 2-6 for the initial seeding)  Strathmore Teams will be the Home team until the playoff round, where the top team will be the Home team.

Tie Breaker

• In the event of a tie in point standings in a competition, final standings shall be determined as follows: o If two teams are tied, the winner of the game or games between the two teams advances. If a tie still exists, the goal average formula listed below will be used.

• If three or more teams are tied, and if one team has defeated the other teams with which it is tied after round robin play, the team shall advance. • Otherwise, GOAL AVERAGE FORMULA: Only the goals scored in games between the tied teams are used in the goal average formula for tie breaking. Team with the highest ratio advances • Otherwise, GOALS AVERAGE FORMULA: Only the goals scored in games between each other plus common opponents are used in the goal average for tie breaking. The team with the highest ratio advances.

• Otherwise, GOALS AGAINST FORMULA: Using goals for and against in all games played by the tied teams. GOALS FOR / GOALS FOR + GOALS AGAINST

The formula is applied once to rank all tied teams.
